  Installed new FWGPRO and is working.  However, I had a similar problem with my USB Wi-Fi adapter as with my old one - which I just replaced - it worked fine after a reboot but did not work just hot-plugging the USB WiFi adapter. 

  Now it is disappeared again and won't show up even if I put it in compatibility mode.  

  I only use the USB WiFi occasionally as i have APs connected to VLANS. 

  I opened a ticket and sent the logs

  @Manny:
  When I think travel router I think something that will give me decent VPN, not necessarily a full blown firewall. With the Purple able to pull off 500 mbs WireGuard, assuming the hotel will give you that, I think is plenty.

  Here is the firewalla app 1.62 release video; app 1.62 is required to run the Gold Pro, and it is currently in early access mode and will be in production before September.

  @firewalla have wave 3 invites gone out yet?

  Additionally, wondering if I could still get some use out of my gold plus after I receive my pro? I have some extra space on my network rack where the pro will go and wouldn't have an issue leaving both racked.

  Update: 

  • The majority of wave 2 is out. 
  • A minor portion of wave2 and all of wave3 will be out early next week (week of 14th)

  @AlwaysHasBeen, Wave 3 invites out already.

  You should be able to resell the plus. If you want to keep it, you can either run it as a network segment, or use it as a dedicated VPN server.

  @Ram! Tracking is a bit slow. If you are not in the USA and also with wave 2, you need to wait until later this week or early next week.  

  (This is our first time importing from Taiwan, we are not used to the new system yet ... reason for beta)

  Is the MSP portal supported by the Gold Pro? I didn't think about it and added it. Seemed to work initially, but now my firewalla box is unreachable. Traffic still seems to be flowing though.

  Update: 

  • Wave 3 and part of wave 2 will be shipped Monday (very likely)

  • We are negotiating with our factory to see if we can pull in the gold pro production build.

  Firewalla thank you Gold Pro showed up today , powered off cable modem. Unplugged gold matched up wan and lan ports on the gold pro from the lan powered on modem and opened the firewalla app scanned the QR code and said restore 4 mins later up and running again.

  So one of the most useless updates is "your shipping label has been printed" or "we're waiting to receive your item". Just tell me when it is arriving already :) Just got a WiFi 7 system with 10 gig ports for wired backhaul. Can't wait.

  If you received the "invitation" email, you are invited. If not, you are not. 

  If you did receive that email, please reply to the case you opened, we will investigate. Again, early access units are limited, we are trying our best to randomize that delivery.
