Since Firewalla features can be either on the app or on the box, there are two update versions you need to look at: the app version and the box version.
There are three release trains:
- Early Access (Alpha): this is where we preview features and have you help us to make sure we are building the right thing
- Beta: a fairly stable release, but you can still give us feedback
- Production: the final and most stable release

- Updates are automatic. Most of the time, they will finish within 24 hours of us releasing the code.

Firewalla Red and Blue boxes have reached end of life (EOL). The latest available software is box version 1.972.
