Firewalla EOL Summary 

Major Software Feature Deprecation

Term Definitions

End of Sale (EOS):

• The product can no longer be ordered directly from the Firewalla website, but may still be available upon request for B2B program partners interested in a minimum of 500 units per order. Please contact help@firewalla.com.

End of Hardware Life (EOL Hardware):

• No more feature updates.
• No more hardware support, except for products still under the one-year warranty. We will honor the one-year warranty the product comes with.
• We will continue to provide security updates until the EOL App Compatibility date.
• App support will continue until the EOL App Compatibility date.

End of App Compatibility Life (EOL App Compatibility):

• App support after this date will be by “best effort”.
• We will try our best to keep the app compatible with the box for six months after the EOL App Compatibility date.
• No more security updates will be provided following this date.

Alternative:

• This may mean any of the following three descriptions:
  • The next generation of the product
  • The most similar model still available for sale
  • The model we recommend to replace the old product

** Firewalla, at minimum, supports any EOS (end of Sale) platforms for at least 3 years. (EOS date to EOL APP). After this, it will be best effort app support. 

* Gold & Gold V2 share the same image as Gold Plus. They are just end of sale, support will continue
