how do I get my hands on an early/beta device? ive participated in the beta community, and I was also one of the first to place an order within minutes of it going live (and was probably the first to suggest you take pre orders). ive ordered quite a few Firewalla's to date (maybe 10 so far?)... and I have two sites that have 10 gigabit fiber internet so can help with testing. thanks. -- Jez

The selection process is weighted random; it goes something like this: the system will assign a weight to each major characteristic we are looking for, and when you purchase the unit, it will have a weight, too. The heavier the weight, the higher the probability you will get a spot.

Mine arrived earlier today, I had a couple of issues migrating from a FWG but got there in the end.
Quickly tested OpenVPN and getting around 3-5x increase in speed through my provider over the gold, very nice!
edit: Main issue I had - App wouldn't pair the FWG-Pro with my phone (Pixel 8 Pro) till I restarted the phone

@thernus, I just created a ticket for you, will ask the developer to verify if the pairing issue is pixel or firewalla. (I think likely the problem is on the pixel side, we just want to be sure)
With the Gold Pro, make sure you check out some of the new features https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/30599664470419-Firewalla-App-Release-1-62-Support-for-Gold-Pro-Live-Throughput-by-Device-Excluding-Devices
You will likely find pulling flows to be extremely fast :)

No worries, no error on the migration. I just meant my config was old on the FWG+ (old PON settings). I stopped using the FWG+ when my internet exceeded 2.5G, so it's been sitting idle. So the migration attempted to use those old settings (DHCP) on my new connection (Static v4/v6) and timed out at verification as expected.
I just used manual setup to add my new IP info and LAN settings, only took about 10min longer, total cutover to FWGP was under 15min. Great job guys!

Here are some more test histories, finding servers that can max out 10G is tough, but the Firewalla doesn't have any trouble. Test setup is: Ziply 10G (bidi SFP+) in a Mikrotik 4 port SFP+ switch, 10GbT adapter, copper jumper to FWGP, several 10G switches to an M1 Mac mini with 10G copper NIC running Speedtest app.

FYI, here is the unboxing video, which I forgot to post last week :(. It was done on the factory floor while we are checking the units. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hutY6fuGndc
