Thank you for purchasing an Extended Warranty for Firewalla!
- Note: The Extended Warranty license MUST BE paired to the corresponding Firewalla product within 30 days of purchasing the Extended Warranty.
- Otherwise, it will by default be connected to the oldest possible unit that fits the time eligibility requirements.
- Requires App 1.66 or later.

How to pair your Extended Warranty with your Firewalla device
- Please install and pair with the Firewalla device you want to cover before proceeding. (For help, see our installation guide.)
- Open the Firewalla app. (Note: please ensure your app is updated to version 1.66 or later.)
- On the box selection screen, tap Scan [-] in the top left corner.
- Scan the Extended Warranty QR code. Alternatively, tap the clipboard icon in the top right corner to paste the license code.
- Once the code is recognized, tap Next.
- Select the eligible device to extend its warranty. (Note: Please select the correct device. You cannot undo this action.) See here for ineligible devices.
- For Firewalla AP7s, please select the Firewalla Box that your AP7 is paired to, then select the eligible AP7 to extend its warranty.
That's it! Your Firewalla device now has 4 total years of warranty starting from your device's purchase date.
How to check your Extended Warranty after pairing
After adding the Extended Warranty, you’ll be able to view your Extended Warranty in the app.
- In the Firewalla app, tap into the box where you just extended the warranty.
- Tap Settings (top right icon) > About > Scroll down to Extended Warranty
- To check your device purchase date, you can refer to the order confirmation email for that device.
Ineligible Devices
Devices are marked ineligible and are not available for pairing with the Extended Warranty if:
- The device already has an extended warranty applied in the past.
- The device's original one-year warranty has already expired.
- The device type does not match the extended warranty type.
- The device is offline, has an error, or has other unsupported modifications that prevent pairing.
