Adding a Box to MSP Inventory
To add a Firewalla box to manage it with an MSP instance,
- Log in to your MSP instance.
- Go to All Boxes > Manage Inventory and choose, Add Firewalla Box.
- Scan the QR code displayed following the directions provided.
- Use the Firewalla mobile app to scan and then select the Firewalla you want to add to your MSP inventory.
Once a box is added to MSP it is no longer accessible via my.firewalla.com.
Remove a Box from MSP Inventory
If you are using either MSP Professional or Business, you can add or delete Firewalla boxes from your MSP Instance in two ways:
- In MSP, go to Manage Inventory, select box(es) and remove from Inventory.
- In the mobile app, go to Settings > Owned by > Revoke Access
After a box is removed from the MSP inventory it will once again be accessible via my.firewalla.com and no longer accessible via the MSP instance. This has no impact on the box per se but all data related to the box will be removed from the cloud instance and only the last 24 hours of data about the box will remain on the box (and be accessible through my.firewalla.com).
