Firewalla Gold Plus CPU update?

I'm interested in buying a Firewalla Gold Plus but buying new networking equipment with a discontinued CPU from 2019 (or even 2016, if rev1 is still being produced) doesn't seem ideal. Is there a plan to upgrade this model to a more modern CPU?

If you are talking about the Gold Rev1/2, they are EOL already. Since all the Intel Gold units runs the same software, you shouldn't worry about support.

Due to uncertainty with tariffs, we can't really commit to anything. (noting, tariffs may slow down, or may even speed up new platforms). Like everyone else, we have no idea what's coming

Good to know, thanks for the quick response. I was talking about Rev 1/2, that's the latest documentation I could find about hardware revisions.

What CPUs are in the Gold Plus units being sold now?

@Daniel Gold and Gold v2 are just end-of-sale; they share the same image as the Gold Plus. It will continue to be supported.
