Unless you setup a limit, the Smart Queue won't limit ... it will treat things more fairly, but rate limit is a different thing. see https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056976594-Firewalla-Feature-Smart-Queue

Ok sounds like pihole is the culprit somehow.

Just checked pihole again and debug shows:

Is this an indication of a corrupt database?

Not understanding how this few day old pihole install on my FWG is running out of memory. I have only added in 30 adlists, all green from the big blocklist collection @ firebog.net.

I have 4 million in my blocklist, but I have upgraded my memory to 8GB.  That’s the first I did when I bought the device.

Oh my, I didn't realize I could upgrade the memory in the FWG. My morning is going great now 😏

Side note, I disabled conditional forwarding and looks to have stopped the memory drain. I had this enabled to get the clients name from FWG.

Found the post detailing the M.2 SSD install as well.. How did the concept of this device being a basic computer elude me.

Yep also installed an SSD.  😁. You have to some digging as the original is no longer available.  But once you get one, it was very easy.
