Nintendo Switch NAT traversal process has failed
Been getting a "NAT traversal process has failed" on a Nintendo Switch and not for every game, so far just Mario Kart. I went hunting on forums and in Reddit, but very few have reported this particular problem with using a FWG. I have also tried putting the device in "Emergency" mode in the Firewalla, but that didn't solve it either. Next up I'll be trying to DMZ it, I gave it a Static IP and made it the DMZ device. I saw a similar topic in a pfSense thread: https://digiex.net/threads/pfsense-guide-to-fix-nintendo-switch-2618-0516-unable-to-connect-to-others-console-nat-traversal.15099/. They seemed to have some other NAT options that the Firewalla doesn't?

Your problem is NAT, or double NAT; "emergency access" may not fix your problem.
What you need to do is, see if your ISP give you a public IP, if you have one, see how the game want port forwarding to be done. If you don't have a public IP, see if the router before the firewalla and if you can do any port forwarding.

It's definitely not a double NAT issue as the Firewalla is in router mode and connected to a cable modem in bridge mode. I have avoided Spectrum's double box solution and have a cable modem with routing disabled. I used to work for TWC/Spectrum so I was in the know. I also never had this NAT traversal issue with my previous firewalls (Untangle / Arista or Sophos).
