IPS & IDS on Gold SE for a newbie?

Hi there,

 

Now that I have successfully installed and partially configured the Gold SE, can someone please instruct/educate me on intrusion prevention (IPS) and intrusion detection (IDS) systems on this device? How do I set it up to know and deal with a would-be intruder?

  IDS and IPS systems are automatic. But if you do want to dig into the system, please see this article
