The Firewalla Gold`s AdBlock.
Hi "Firewallers"!
The Firewalla Gold Adblock is very weak, does not block almost anything, I know that this is due to him not having access to what we are entering, but it would be nice to have an option with a user-signed term of use where we can have a real adblock.
Now I have a super firewall (Gold version) but I will have to configure a Raspberry with PI-Hole to have the ads blocked.
I know that it is a big responsibility to have access to what people are seeing, but I would certainly sign the terms of use so that FireWalla could work like Pi-Hole.
Who should not be afraid.

The firewalla default ad blocker is optimized of not to cause trouble to your experience. This way, people will have less time to manage the trouble that come from "anti-adblocker" software. So, the weakness is intentional.
But ... very soon in 1.972, we will be providing an advanced mode, which you can turn on an "stricter" ad blocker, and this list is likely to be a public list.

Good Mike, thx for sharing your experience!
Are your have a tutorial or some tips to do this? I never access the Docker Engine on FWG, i`m totally noob in this area (docker) yet. But i learn fast and studding about this now.
FWG processor is ARM? I think it was x86/x64 =O
Edit: Now, i believe FWG have a Celeron N3450 in your system, make sense, the docker and the Pi-Hole running in linux using this processor.

CPU is N3160, you need to look at this for docker pi-hole https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051625034-Guide-How-to-install-Pi-Hole-on-Gold-Beta-

Good, is DDR3 but the clock`s better than N3450.
About the Pi-Hole in docker, i`m seeing your link now! Thank you.
But I will see only to learn and improve the knowledge in relation to FWG and also about Docker. To use it myself I will wait for the new version with more adjustable Ad-Block or even configure a Pi-Hole separately in a Rasp4B.

If you are comfortable at all on a Linux command line I see no reason to wait. The docker implementation of pi-hole on the FWG works very well and is fairly easy to set up if you follow the instructions linked above.
Pi-hole doesn't consume much of the system resources at all. And the ad blocking capabilities provided by pi-hole are superb.
