I just saw this update. I checked my two AP versions, both are running Beta 0.1.95.1.3.142. with last update Mar 8. I selected Check for Updates and version did not update. I rebooted one of the AP's and it came back up with same version. Then selected Check for Updates and it updated to version 0.1.95.1.4.35.
Should the AP be able to update without a reboot?
I am leaving my second AP alone to see what happens with a bit more time.
Thank you.
Hi @DanM,
Thanks for the feedback. The update might not be instantly available to all AP7s, as it's currently in "phased deployment".
The AP7s should update without a reboot, but rebooting can help refresh the system and detect available updates. I'll check if we can update our documentation or app interface to make this clearer.
Hi @Firewalla CM
Thank you. I let my 2nd AP7D stay as-is thru the night. This morning, it was still showing version 3.142. I tried a Check for Updates, and it stayed the same. I rebooted the AP and it came back up with version 4.35.
Today I received my 3rd AP7D, after the initial and setup it was on the stable version. Apologies but I didn't capture the version number. I then switched to Beta and after its automatic update, the AP reflected version 4.35. Thanks again, can't wait for the AP7C's to be released.
