MSP 2.5.0 is now available to all MSP users!
Firewalla Managed Security Portal (MSP) is our web interface designed for security and infosec professionals to easily manage multiple Firewalla boxes. Learn more about MSP here, and sign up at firewalla.net/plans.
New Features
1. Network Manager
When you click into an individual box in Firewalla MSP, you can now see details about its LANs, VPNs, and WANs in our Network Manager – just like in the Firewalla app. This makes it easy to troubleshoot connection problems and find important network configuration information right from MSP. Note that the Network Manager feature is read-only for now, but we plan to make it configurable in the near future.
Click on any LAN, VPN, or WAN to see every detail about it clearly laid out.
The Link Aggregation tab shows you the LAGs on your network, and the NAT Settings listed out all details about your Source NAT, Source Networks, NAT Passthrough, UPnP, and DMZ. All your port forwarding configurations will also be listed on the NAT Settings page.
2. Network Performance
Alongside the Network Manager, we're releasing a Network Performance page for individual boxes in MSP! See a summary of your network performance over the last 24 hours, your Internet speed test results over the last 7 days, and your network quality test results in one convenient place.
Click on your speed test or quality test results to see a full list of Firewalla's speed and quality tests. Easily find trends or discrepancies using the graph.
3. Network Events
30 days of network events are now shown in the System Events list on your MSP, making it easy to stay up-to-date with the latest incidents across all your networks. In addition to High Packet Loss and High Latency events, any changes to your network connections have been added to our system events. This includes things like "Ethernet port Connected/Disconnected", "WAN Restored/Down", "Dual WAN failover/fallback", and so on.
4. New Inventory Navigation
To make it easier to manage multiple boxes in MSP, we've improved navigation between your Inventory and individual boxes. Starting in this version, clicking on a box in your Inventory table will take you straight to that box's dashboard. There, you'll find the new network performance summary and speed test results along with the data transferred chart, flows summary, data usage and the top blocked/accessed destinations for that box.
No matter which of the box's pages you're on, you'll find the Back to Inventory button conveniently located in the top left corner. This shortcut takes you back to your Inventory, where you can easily navigate to other boxes or see information across all boxes.
Enhancements & Bug Fixes
- Supported sending Box Online/Offline events to other apps via Webhooks.
- Fixed some bugs in search & filters for flows and alarms.
- Fixed some display issues.

Feedback:
I didn't see the Network until I selected an individual box.
I would be helpful to note that this is not shown when looking at "All Boxes"
Good work!
Fantastic improvement, I have been looking forward to these features!
