Firewalla Purple Installation with mesh network

I would like to use some of the parental controls offered by Firewalla, as they seem much more robust that what is offered in some of my ISP and the mesh networks software.  Here is my setup question:

Rogers Ignite modem is connected to the main Mesh router (doing DHCP allocation), then on the other port of the main Mesh router, I have a 4 port unmanaged switch for my TV, and a couple other devices.  Then I have 2 other mesh access points (wireless) in parts of the house.  Can I add the Firewalla Purple in the mix so it becomes the DHCP host, but I retain full use of my mesh network and switch?  I'd like to monitor devices and use parental controls with firewalla, but maintain the mesh networks speeds/features.

  You can put the purple like this

  Rogers Modem <---> Purple <----> Mesh router in AP mode

  Then for my unmanaged switch, I assume it can connect it to the purple or the mesh routers gigabit ports?

  If you run a typical home network, anywhere is fine. 

  But, if you want to optimize things, such you have PC's connecting via ethernet, your best bet is to connect the switch to purple and wifi to that. This way, your PC's will have one less hop to the internet.
