Chromecast cannot connect

    Is the chromcast connected to the same network as your other devices? if they are, the traffic likely not even going through Firewalla.

    Sorry should have been clearer.

    In a hotel using the Purple in router mode with WISP.

    All is fine with other devices and they can see the Purple and connect.

    The chrome cast was connected before and all fine.

    Now something has happened. Even a reset of the chrome cast the device cannot see the Purple in the list of available networks or manually entering the SSID & password fail.

    It's odd.

    We recently added a "compatibility" mode for Purple Wifi, you should see that here https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/4554420886163-Firewalla-Box-Release-1-974-App-Release-1-50

    Turn that on and see if it will work

    Got home and only change made was to remove a MAC id that I had been using in hotel and then my home network.

    Connected first time. 

    Odd. Oh well.

    Second time at Holiday Inn Port of Miami and it and Chromecast won't connect. It connects everywhere else.
