Customer Dashboard
What do you think about including a customer dashboard as part of the MSP service? Essentially a non-admin account that enables awareness but not modification. Something that shows basic uptime statistics, geographic locations of all the boxes, major alarms and activity, and live throughput data? This would allow us to share the pertinent information with our customers without letting them directly manage rules, new devices, or other critical admin functions.

Yes, but there are too many admin level controls like rule management and network management on the app. I suggest the customer dashboard be available to MSP customers because user level permissions will be easier to implement on the MSP than they would be on the app which doesn't use login credentials. Or a separate customer focused app altogether.
For example www.mycustomer.myMSP.firewalla.net would show only the boxes and information we want mycustomer to see whereas www.myMSP.firewalla.net will show all boxes under our management and all the administration controls.
This way if I add a new customer in the future I can still manage everything from the MSP, but give them restricted access to their specific boxes and information.
This may all be solved by granular user based permissions on the MSP. I would essentially create a locked down, view only customer account for each customer and they can log in to myMSP.firewalla.net with unique credentials.

Seems to me you could kill two birds with one stone on this one.

Both of these could be accomplished in the same fashion. Create a view only, admin, and managed accounts
