    did you look at this https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405487405587-Firewalla-Network-Events

    This is the network events feature that helps you to diagnose any connectivity problems.

    Yes I had a look at it. When I tap on WAN disconnected I just get the Network Name, IP address and Status - disconnected with no further info.  Doesn't help with the lack of monitoring really.

    there is a little (i) button, if not then it means the port is physically disconnected. (bad cable, your modem reboot)

    The (i) button only give me Network Name, IP address and Status nothing else - connectivity test history is blank.  It remained steady last night so I'm hoping it was a once off issue.

    Can you paste the screenshot here after pressing (i)? or you can send to help@firewalla.com as well referencing this thread.

    @Maurice

    This event is probably triggered because your ethernet port is disconnected. Can you find any related events saying "WAN Port is disconnected" right before the wan went down? If you can send an email to help@firewalla.com, our engineers will look into it and help to confirm the issue.

    I'm also forwarding your post to the product team and see if we can have a better way to include the "port disconnected" events in the connectivity test history list. Sorry for the confusion.

    I think I have located the cause of the network losing connection.  It appears to be related to the recorder of my CCTV which seems to be causing my network to crash.  I have disconnected it and will see if the prob occurs again.
