No internet when connecting directly to Verizon FIOS ONT

I have a Gold Rev. B, the original gold.

In bridge mode connected to my ASUS XT-9 router and I can access the firewalla box, and see devices connected.

I want to put it in front of the router, and have changed the status of the Firewalla from bridge to router, connected it to the ONT via Ethernet in the #4 position.

Yellow lights flashing, so it appears to have connection to the ONT. I have connected an old ORBI router to the Firewalla for test purposes, but am unable to get any connection.

I have power cycled the ONT, the Firewalla and done a fresh start on the ORBI test router. No connection.

Within the Firewalla app I can see that it is still labeled as LAN 1.

I am able to re-connect the ONT directly to my ASUS XT-9 and get internet instantly.

Are there settings that I need to replicate in the Firewalla that I have overlooked?

Are there other configurations or steps that I missed?

If this is still an issue, did you try powering off the ONT for about 5 minutes?
Did you check that you have at least one one LAN configured on the ports that you have devices connected to?

Connect your Firewalla WAN port to the LAN port of the Orbi; if that works, then likely ONT is blocking firewalla connecting to it.

If that does not work, check configuration and make sure your WAN configuration is DHCP.

Solved!

Firewalla support advised a longer shut down of the fiber/ONT to fully reset the connection and that did it!
