Gold - VPN Server, wireguard - One external device works, another does not
Hi all,
A real novice with VPNs but I want to get away from port forwarding and open ports as I see a lot of hacking attempts.
I have a number of devices on my LAN I want to access remotely. Most are power controllers like those from Digital Loggers.
So I setup VPN server using wireguard. I created a profile for my iPhone, did the steps, imported the profile and the iPhone connects just fine. Once connected I can go to the IP address on the LAN of the power controller and access it. Also have internet access (web etc.).
Create profile for MacBookPro. Download it. Installed the Wireguard app on MacBookPro, import the config. It all looks right. Connect, it shows connected. But no access to the power controller on the LAN. No internet (web etc).
Trying to figure out why the MBP will not work. I've tried this process a few times, MBP reboots etc. But it is not a happy camper.
Any thoughts?

I downloaded the Wireguard app on MBP. Running it I import the profile I downloaded. This causes VPN to be available under networks in the system settings. There is a switch to connect. I toggle that switch (or use the status bar Wireguard icon) and it says connected.
However... I don't think it actually is connected as the firewalla MSP networks under Wireguard does not show a green dot next to the MBP.
Would the rules be in the firewalla or on the MBP?
