Flows with random names by the dozens if not hundreds
My iPhone 17 is showing a ton of flows that have random names and the AI info suggests to treat as suspicious. I've been trying to block all of them but there are so many. It's happening on my MacBook Air as well. I don't get alarms saying anything malicious is happening, but I'd like to figure out the source and kill it. Also, if they are random and mostly not repeating, what good is blocking them? Any feedback on this situation will be appreciated. These connections are both uploading and downloading. I'm a novice in networking and still learning a lot.

Hi there, do you have any examples of the domains your devices are accessing, and a screenshot of what the AI info is suggesting? Is there any pattern in these sites, like they only display when your device is accessing a certain website, or all come from the same region?
You can also manually look into the sites by tapping on the Flow > tap on the Destination Domain/IP > tap Security Info Lookup, and verify what AI is suggesting. For more details, see Security Info Lookup.
If you are new to Firewalla and networking in general, you may be surprised by the number of flows each website generates on your devices. We recommend checking out our Getting Started Guide and our article series on A Secure and Better Network with Firewalla for more information.
