One SSID with VPN, one without

In the Travelling with Firewall article, you suggest:

If you are using Firewalla Orange and rely on VPN, you can do this, creating:

• SSID 1: No VPN, for general local access
• SSID 2: With VPN, for use after pairing is done.

Could you please provide recommended steps to accomplish this? I set up a second SSID, but it appears that the VPN Client is linked to a LAN, and the the VPN is either on or off for the LAN as a whole. If this scenario requires setting up a second LAN, what's the best way to go about this in a way that keeps the two LAN settings consistent & easily maintainable?

  In box main page -> Rules, you can easily find how many rules and what rules are applied at each LAN level. You can use it for quick comparison to help keep 2 LAN's rule in consistency.
