Firewalla Blocks vin2.pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com but Should Block pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com

When you block a domain, all subdomains and IP addresses mapped to the domain and subdomains are blocked as well. (e.g., "google.com" would also block "images.google.com").

So just block pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com should be able to block everything.

Hi, I am talking about Auto-Block that Firewalla does per Policy.   Firewalla, for example, will Auto-Block vin3.pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com but then another auto-block of vin40.pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com and so on.  I wanted to tap the domain vin3.pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com and edit it to pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com but this was not possible.

Do you mean, you want to manually block pbs.ovh... site? all of it? for that you need to insert a rule

I got a bunch of those too. Firewalla is blocking those domains because they are flagged a Malware. But since it is blocking the entire domain "vin3.pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com" and not "pbs.ovhnextmillmedia.com" every other iteration of the URL will also be a block. I like to keep my rulesets clean, so URLs and IPs that are being blocked automatically by Firewalla, I will take them and place them in a Target List. That particular URL you are talking about, I added to a Target List at the base URL of ovhnextmillmedia.com to it blocks all the sub-domains as well.

Yes, block pbs.ovh… so the alerts for that base domain stop.   Will learn about doing that rule.  Thx.
