I have a Firewalla Gold plus. I am using the Firewalla AP7 setup on a WIFI lan port. I also have a LAN dedicated port for my wired devices. I have a Marantz receiver that is in the WiFi lan that needs to be able to connect with a Buffalo NAS which is in the wired lan. The Nas has the media server turned on and works fine within its subnet. I have tried setting up routes to allow the two to talk but I am have not been able to get it to work. mDNS relay and SSDP relay are turned on for both LANS. I tried turning off the vqlan also. I’m sure it is a configuration issue somewhere. thanks in advance The .170 subnet is the wired Ethernet and the .172 is the WIFI network using firewalla ap7s
this is how I setup the routes;
route 1
Matching
ip address 192.168.172.165 (Marantz-WIFI)
ON
device (shows all devices)
interface
LAN. Ethernet
NEXT HOP
192.168.170.65. (NAS)
route 2
matching
ip address. 192.168.170.65 (NAS Ethernet)
ON
DEVICE (Shows all devices)
INTERFACE
LAN. WIFI
NEXT HOP
192.168.172.165 (Marantz)

For LAN devices to talk, you don't need the manual routes. The routes you created might cause more issues. Like all devices who's trying to talk to your Marantz-WIFI device, the traffic will be routed to NAS instead, and vice versa. Firewalla natively supports inter-lan routing.
I'd suggest:
- Besides VqLAN, check if you have other local network rules could be blocking
- Check Local Network Flows to see if any flows is blocked or allowed already
- Do ping test to your NAS's LAN gateway IP
- Do ping test to your NAS itself
- Check whether your NAS could have OS firewall that's blocking local traffic.
