For LAN devices to talk, you don't need the manual routes. The routes you created might cause more issues. Like all devices who's trying to talk to your Marantz-WIFI device, the traffic will be routed to NAS instead, and vice versa. Firewalla natively supports inter-lan routing.

    I'd suggest:

    • Besides VqLAN, check if you have other local network rules could be blocking
    • Check Local Network Flows to see if any flows is blocked or allowed already
    • Do ping test to your NAS's LAN gateway IP
    • Do ping test to your NAS itself
    • Check whether your NAS could have OS firewall that's blocking local traffic.

    Hi
It turns out to be a Marantz issue. It cannot find a media server if it is not in the same subnet. I put the NAS on the wifi subnet and all is happy now. Thanks for the response!
