Will a new access point be on same network as Firewalla Purple's Wi-Fi?
Ten Samsung Multiroom Wi-Fi speakers need to be on the same network as the Android device that runs the app to control the speakers. If the Android device is not on the same network, the app does not see the speakers. If I add an access point, wired to a network switch, which is wired to the Purple, will it create one big network? I do not have any segments or VLANs set up. I will be using a straight up access point, not a router or something that has been reconfigured to be an access point. I am wondering it the Purple's Ethernet, built-in mini Wi-Fi, and the new access point will all be able to see the speakers if they all have the same SSID? Thanks.

I bridged the Purple's short-distance Wi-Fi and it works great in the room where the Purple is located. I connected 3 Samsung speakers. They sync up perfectly and play nice.
If I add a new access point to this existing network (to reach farther away than the Purple Wi-Fi can reach) will it be part of the same network so that Ethernet and both Wi-Fi signals are on the same network (not just the Purple's short-distance Wi-Fi)?
The reason I am asking is that the speakers also accept wired Ethernet connections and when the Wi-Fi is weak they use that so I want it all to be one network.
Thanks.
