What exactly does "maximize compatibility" do on the AP7?

Trying to make a call on if this should be enabled or not. The only info I see is that enabling it reduces performance? If I don't have old/iot devices on my network should I disable?

  This does some special tweaks to make some older devices perform/stable. Shouldn't touch performance side. You can just turn it on if you want to be a bit more stable

  They are just small tweaks in the wifi stack to make old things work better. If your network is perfectly fine, then they are not relevant to you.
