    Hi Doner005. Have you found a set-up/router/firewall that does work with T-mobile's Gateway? I'm a bit challenged in the computer world, and had difficulty with a purchased modem needed to enable firewalla gold to work with my internet service (and difficulty with the set-up).... and frankly hoping someone savvy who understands the technical terms and workings will say, "just get this other router similar to the gold." Fully get it if there's no such thing, and upon a short looking, doesn't seem the gold will work with t-mobile gateway. hoping someone can school me differently, or tell me a similar option with the gateway. thanks

    Any Firewalla router will work with T-Mobile internet. You just won’t get working IPv6 out of it.

    I have a ticket open with Firewalla and they say they are buying a flint 2 router for their lab to get IPv6 working on their products. So hopefully sometime soon they will get it working since most other routers can do it.

    We did have someone investigate the solution, seems the only way possible is doing some type of IPv6 NAT and make it working. If you have a solution that's working today, can you ping the device inside of your network using its IPv6 address directly from outside of the network?

    I don’t own a gl.inet router but this seems like it should be something you guys can easily implement if budget routers are doing it. I have friends with gl.inet routers that have working IPv6 on T-Mobile in Nat6 mode and IPv6 passthrough mode.

    We just tried gl.inet router with T-Mobile;

    1. Passthrough does NOT work. T-Mobile does not assign ipv6 addresses. We are using T-Mobile (big black colored router, in Bay Area)

    2. NAT works ... but no point in using it, since it is no different from v4 NAT.
