When this happens, almost 99% is related to this https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055686674-How-to-see-if-you-have-a-public-IP-address-

Check if you have a public IP.

So I talked to my ISP provider.  Their router is in bridge mode and does not have a static IP, if I want a static IP it would cost $10 extra a month which I'm not going to do.  The technician said he can see my IVP6 address so try to connect the wiregusrd to that.

Is their a way to connect wiregurad to IVP6 or does wireguard only connect to IVP4?  Should I use OpenVPN?

    Thanks

You do not need a static IP. All you need a public IP. You need to check if they give you a public IPv4

WireGuard is v4 only now same as openvpn.

ISP provider says that I do have a public IPv4 IP and it is not static.  He also said because their router is in bridge mode and that he can not change  port forward and can not see what of if it is forwarded.

Wireguard IP address is 209.206.91.....  WAN IP address is 100.88.146......   DHCP is the connection type

Can you double check with your ISP whether you have public IP?

100.88.146.* is not a public IP, it's an internal IP only accessible within the ISP.

You don't need a *static* public IP. A dynamic public IP is good enough, but it must be a *public* IP that is accessible from outside.
