If the dVPN is the kind that allows other people to use your internet as their exit point (like Tor), then it is really not a good idea to run them on your firewall.

As for installation, the Gold is Linux ... if you fully understand the implications of distributed VPN (the ability to have other people's traffic on / exit from your network) then feel free to install the software. We are unlikely to product a tutorial for this particular service.

Thank you. I very much appreciate your insight. It gives me a different way to look at this topic. Back to the drawing board. Perhaps it's best to just stick with a VPS or a small server. :-D

Since you are going to host other people's traffic, you probably want that traffic to be protected from rest of your network. So one of the better designs is keep a firewall (like firewalla) for your home traffic, and the dVPN (other people's traffic) leave it outside of the firewall. Treat 'other people' traffic like a honey pot traffic ...

I'm learning so much simply by having my own FWG. No modifications or anything crazy. Right now I am just observing, learning and asking tons of questions. Again, thank you.  :-D

@TheOtherOne as you are a self-described newbie to "Linux, Raspberry Pi and networking" I would strongly recommend you don't participate in share networking or servers until you understand the repercussions more.  These days the risks are so great that allowing strangers "into your home" is very unwise.

Just focus on protecting your castle - that should keep you busy enough.
