Zero blocked connections ever? Why not?

I have the Firewalla Blue Plus running in DHCP mode, connected to a Netgear router.

We have ZERO blocked connections. None ever. This doesn't seem normal. We switched to Firewalla from RATTrap, and the RATTrap firewall caught thousands of pings a day from potentially malicious sources, mostly outside the USA.

Please help me understand why I'm not seeing any blocked connections, since these are my primary reason for having a firewall device! Thanks,

  If you have the blue plus installed, it actually sitting behind your router. And it is likely something in your router is blocking the connections requests.

  If you get a Gold or the Purple, which can act as your main router, then you will see a lot more connections from inbound.

  Thank you, that's what I suspected. I'll probably upgrade to a Purple next year.   -Doug
