Using VPN to bypass security

My kid uses a free VPN app and that bypasses all the security settings I put in Firewalla. Is there a way to prevent users from connecting to external VPNs?

  Create a new rule. Block > Set Target > All VPN Sites

  And assign the rule to your kids device or group.

  This feature is in “beta” and I have not tried it out myself yet. A determined kid can get around anything eventually. I’d say…just take the device away. 😃

  That Beta "All VPN Sites" won't work. It is blocking legitimate traffic. x-vpn is easily bypassing it. x-vpn has mutiple protocols. If we block some ports, it picks others. The cat needs to get smarter than the mouse. We have Jerry kicking Tom's butt easily here 😅.
