Firewalla Gold not blocking Internet

I'm on the gold and I have an internet block on. I am able to get to a basic website like google.com. I cleared cache and history, verified there are no rules in place allowing the domain and the firewall will not block the traffic. This is a recurring problem with the firewall not being able to do a basic blocking function. Is there a way to fix this? This is sooooo frustrating.

  Need more information

  1. Are you running FWG in router/simple or DHCP mode?

  2. When you say block internet, do you block all internet? or just some sites? if sites, give us an example

  I've run it both in Router and DHCP mode and it does the same thing in both modes. In all cases, all traffic to the internet from the network goes through the device. Mode is irrelevant. It let's sites through that are blocked, doesn't let sites through that are allowed through an "allow list" type of configuration.

  When I say "internet", I mean your "internet" block "feature". As for an example, I gave an example above.

  Tap on devices, tap on the device that's not blocking, and see the top graph, do you see anything there? if no, then likely the device is not the one you are blocking. 

  And if you are running in router mode, and you do not have any "allow rules" or "block rules", then likely something is not right with the setup.  Please send an email to help@firewalla.com and we can help you
