Is it normal to never have any security warnings?
This is a bit of a daft question... is it normal to have barely any intrusion attempts or anything logged ever?
I am using Firewalla primarily for security. I do not block any usage (don't have children).
I do have the AD blocker on which works fine.
I know the security features work, because I tested it by going to wicar.org (which generated a msg), but I am surprised to never see ANY security related warnings otherwise. No intrusion attempts or port scanning or password brute forcing etc.
I do see "abnormal upload" warnings for my ring cameras sometimes, but that's it.
I have alot of IoT devices like hue bulbs, iRobot vaccuum, ring cameras, smart TV etc. so I was kinda expecting to see (and defend) against regular hacking attempts
Is this the same for all of you guys? Is it just, because my router (Netgear Orbi) already rejects some of these?
Or is there some advance logging where I would see these?
Many thanks
Dan

If you have the FWG, you can see all the blocks coming into your Firewall. See this https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500007220942-Firewalla-Blocked-Flows-FAQs
If you want to generate something, see this https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360053002674-How-to-validate-Firewalla-features-
And lastly, you should not see attacks that often ... It is a good thing.
