Are rules On "All Devices" applied to devices in groups?

Firewall Gold: are rules On "All Devices" applied to a device when the device is added to a group? Or will these rules need to recreated for each group?

  They apply to all devices unless the group overrides the rules.  See  https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008521833-Manage-Rules
