    1. Are you talking about the WiFi SD? it is supposed to be used as a temporary back up with your phone; Are you using it as an access point?

    2. There is no way to see full URL, this is https doing its things. That content is encrypted

    3. No one asked that function, do you have a good use case?

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

    1. I'm using this https://firewalla.com/products/firewalla-wi-fi-sd and I set it up as my guest network, not a tether to my main network. I have my FWG in Router mode with the guest network a separate VLAN. It works, it just gets very slow very quickly as I move further away.

    2. Ok, thanks

    3. It's not a big deal. The reason I asked was because when I was testing my autoconnect script (which I posted if anyone is interested) the VPN said I was connected when I wasn't, and I couldn't disconnect it. I ended up having to reboot the FWG.I also notice the connection status is a bit delayed in refreshing by a few minutes.

Another situation, I don't remember exactly the details, but I also remember my Wireguard service got in a funky state and would let me disconnect. Of course, I could disable my network connection. I also notice VPN connections stay connected for a bit after disconnecting.

It would be cool if I could use my AD credentials to connect rather than a Wireguard profile.

The WiFi-SD adapter is a short range adapter, although it can function in access point, it was really designed for that purpose.

I am not understanding your wireguard problem, if you can please send email to help@firewalla.com, we can help you out

    - so, for the wi-fi antenae would a 3rd party long range antenae work?

    - The wireguard thing is not a problem, was just a question if it were possible so I can stop looking if it is not. Thank you for the answer.

    - One other thing i'm noticing. I seemed to have blocked location services but I'm not sure what policy would have blocked that. All I have blocked are the top 10 bad actor coutries, tiktok, default bundle, and default ingress firewall.

We don't officially support 3rd party WiFi antenna, you could try to see if it works. If you want a WiFi access point, the best option is https://firewalla.com/collections/firewalla-ap7. It has stronger signal, and more powerful features come with it, such as VqLAN: Firewalla Microsegmentation

You can follow What to do when you can't access certain websites to debug which rule is blocking your access. IP addresses may not always be accurate so we advise you to block as few countries as possible. The more regions you block, the more problems and false positives you may experience.
