Bizzare: Internet drops every single time when I do this one thing.
So, I have a problem that I'm not even sure how to begin resolve. I have a Firewalla Gold Pro with two ISPs connected. AT&T is my primary. Every single time I login to Dune: Awakenings, AT&T drops. It's 100% repeatable. It happens with no other game, and no other app. My 1G AT&T fiber has been very stable otherwise. I'm on the latest stable release for the Gold Pro. Eventually AT&T flips back to primary after a few minutes without any issues, and I can continue playing from there. It happens no other time during the game. In my troubleshooting tests, I disabled the Connectivity Test on AT&T and that stops the drop from happening. I just have no idea how my gaming rig can cause the connectivity test from my Firewalla Gold Pro to fail and flip over to backup simply logging into an online gaming server? So now, I just turn the test off manually before I login, but I'd love to understand better how this is happening.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Very bizzare for sure
Are you doing load balancing or doing active standby? Do you have any route that may place your Dune traffic to the backup internet?
Is your PC/MAC connected via a ethernet switch or directly to the firewalla? if it is directly connected, try to connect a switch in between

Sounds like traffic generated by this game triggered a modem/ISP bug. Add a policy to route traffic from that PC to Xfinity and try. See if AT&T will be happy. See Firewalla Policy & Content Based Routing

Just circling around on this one as I've seen some other noise about this specific problem on other forums, and I think I resolved it. It's not Firewalla specific, but just in case anyone else is running into this problem and thinks it could be.
It seems to be an issue with the Steam Client Server Refresh Rate. It defaults to 5000, which means you're pinging public servers at a rate of 5000 pings per minute. I'm guessing AT&T sees that as bad behavior and instead of just rate limiting the behavior, they are just resetting your modem connection completely. I started playing a new game with hosted servers that use Steam's server browser, and wouldn't you know it my connection would drop like a hammer every 5 minutes. Once I changed the refresh rate to 250, I haven't seen any issues for the past 2 days.
