High Packet Loss on Secondary Internet
Hello Guru's of Firewalla.
I just received and installed my Firewall Gold yesterday, and I must say I am impressed.
I am having one odd/nagging issue, however, and was hoping for some ideas or feedback before I call support.
I have two internet links (Frontier & Spectrum). Both work(ed) fine. I have them configured as failover, but am using some routes to push some traffic over to the Spectrum link - more to play with the features that are out of need.
Firewalla is consistently reporting packet loss on the Spectrum link. My "Recent Events" is filled up with "High packet loss detected on WAN Spectrum". The summary says 100% packet loss.
The catch is, I don't think that is the case.
To test I did the normal laptop plugged directly in the spectrum modum - no problems.
Then I did a manual route for the primary OpenDNS server (208.67.220.220) and pinged it from the Linux box through the Firewalla - again no loss. Traceroute confirmed the path throug Spectrum.
Lastly I routed all my kids Netflix traffic (its Saturday) through the secondary no still no problems.
Any idea why Firewalla thinks there is packet loss? To what destination does Firewalla test? Am I mising something (not unlikely - I am an accountant not a network engineer).
Any help or thoughts appreciated!

If your network is fine, likely just the test target is not good, you can change it here https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413511352083-Network-Performance-and-Quality-Monitoring#h_01HCZCPRJGBYQ9FKDJJX86F9PW

Yep, that was the ticket, thank you.
It had two strange IPs in for "ISP DNS Servers" and both were failing. Not sure where it got those - I entered the Google DNS services when I created the WAN connection, and I get a totally different set of DNS servers from Spectrum's DHCP.
Thanks for the tip.
