    Do you mean you do not want any encryption for the guest SSID?

    Yes correct, it's a separate vlan

    Let me do a quick survey on this with the general community. In general, when we build the AP's, our goal is not implement anything that may be dangerous, and having no encryption on the wifi side is one of them.

    I'm doing a project for a small town library and they want an open SSID also.  What were the results of the quick community survey?

    We did the survey, and the interest for is very little. But, we were going to lump this work with the captive portal, which likely to come to the MSP in 2.10.0 or 2.11.0;

    Any update on this capability? I have the Orange, and would also like to create a guest wifi that doesn't require a password. I've already created a separate vlan and a guest group. Is there an eta for this feature? Thanks!

    We are trying to avoid "open access" wifi, without any password. Will it be simpler, just present a simple QR code to guests and have them login using a password?

    Ideally, it would be easier to spin up the guest wifi when there are guests in the house. This is for a vacation house. The previous router, Amplifi Instant, had this ability.
