Thats a great question I order as soon as it opened. but so far nothing but crickets. When I did the Gold pre order a couple years ago they gave a estimated delivery update. But this time someone is asleep at the wheel.
Not what I expected for a premium product launch and I order 3 units!

@DanM. I read the shipping information and understood it, I did not ask when they would be shipped.
The Comment was a simple one. That tracking order and sending estimated delivery times is Not rocket science. Im not complaining I accept the time and understand the times. Tell me Im wrong, that if you know how many are in-stock, estimated delivery dates on the rest, that a automated replay of the deliver date can be sent to each customer IF you are truly doing FIFO.
Having helped kick start this company with the red, then the blue, and 2 Golds. My comment was for a improvement, Not a complaint. I was expressing the lack of learning from the prior issues with shipping of the AP7.
You can FanBoy beat me all you want. But direct suggestions for improvements is not complaining.
Firewalla is a technology company, and Im sure that the shipping and fulfillment COULD be as awesome as its products if they wanted to. So I guess by hoping that they try to improve is a problem then "I am that Guy"

Adam - Gaslight all you want, The order process need work. Its not that hard. Feel free to read the comments on the last 2 drops. It's not that hard to do customer service. It also keeps people from starting conversations just like this! Ill stand by my assessment. Glad you got your notification. Ill end this thread here as its non productive.

I have to agree with William, I posted over on the Reddit forum. The part that ticks me off is that they charged my credit card and it’s already posted. Typically credit cards are not charged until orders are ready to ship and there likely is pre shipment information prior to the tracking number. I have ordered many things over the years but their order process procedures need some fine tuning.

I found the process normal. Ordered 3/4, credit card reflected a “pending” charge on same day. This is normal to confirm availability of funds. My AP7 shipped 3/6 and is still entire. My CC is still pending and financial transaction therefore still incomplete. I don’t see a single thing wrong with the pre-shipment validation of funds. Is your CC transaction marked pending? If so, processing still is incomplete. Same as restaurants, hotels and other merchants.

Someone over on the reddit forum posted that these are shipping via USPS. I checked my informed delivery dashboard and there isn’t any pre shipment information. It’s not really a big deal but since they charged my card and it’s already posted I would expect some information on the shipping status.
