Are you talking about the WiFi SD? then unlikely that unit is much weaker as an AP (it was primarily built for a secondary WAN) If you have the AP7, you are much better using that instead.

Please note, when I first installed my AP7, the WiFi SD in my FWGP was seen as another Wi-Fi on same network and interfered with a proper AP7 pairing. Had to remove the FW USB WiFi dongle.

@DanM, you don't need to remove the WiFi Dongle, you just need to turn off the WiFi dongle LAN configuration. It can still be used as a secondary WAN.

Thank you, that’s good to know. I misinterpreted the direction

I asked about this also - and would like to have SD-WIFI access back so that it can be used for management in case the AP7 is having issues. Will this ever be re-enabled?

@ Troy, see response from Firewalla above my response, sounds like you can use the FW WiFi Dongle. I have not circled back to test it yet.

So has anyone got it to work yet as that was my go-to WiFi for admin of the firewalla in case there were other issues.  As you can only do so much in bluetooth and some of the changes require WiFi.  So if I can add it back in I would like to.  Again I never used it for other clients just Firewalla Mgmt only.
