My iPhone 15 Pro Max is running iOS 18.2.1 and has no issue connecting to the AP7 on WiFi 6e.
I don’t see an update for iOS 18.3 otherwise I’d update to it and check for you.

Yeah it’s a developer beta so I can’t confirm if it’s an iOS 18.3 thing or if it’s on the AP7 side unless someone else can confirm theirs connects with 18.3

I’m on 18.3 beta and no issues connecting to AP7. I do have watch OS issues with any trusted WiFi though. Leads me to believe bug in iOS.

If you are using old SSID/password, try to forget that network and re-add it

You might need to actually do a reset network setting within the iOS.  I have had issues before with beta versions actually causing network connectivity issues and even clearing the old SSID and or password did not work

I just downloaded the beta and updated my phone to 18.3. No issues with connecting to my AP7.

Okay did some more testing. I have an iPhone 12 Pro as my work phone and that’s on the public 18.2.1 release. Still won’t connect to the AP7 (Same new SSID and this phone has never connected to it). The result is the same where the progress icon just keeps spinning to the left of the SSID as if it’s trying to connect.

Tap on the information icon to the right of the SSID in iOS wifi settings, and check if IP address has been assigned. If IP address is assigned, it means the wifi connectivity part works. Maybe phone is not able to access internet with this wifi.

The progress icon will keep spinning if wifi connected but no internet access.

Usually if it's wifi issue, iPhone will pop up authentication error or ask to retry password in a few seconds.

If it's internet access issue, maybe check if there is any internet blocking rule or quarantine rules.

You may also double check if the AP ethernet port is connected to the right port on the other side.

If this still doesn't work, you may send email to help@firewalla.com, we can help from there.
