Hello,

 

Super excited for tomorrow.  Do we know the price point yet for each AP?  I have seen some ranges, but maybe I missed actual decided cost.

  USD 329, 319, or 309. More likely the last two; A lot of people are airlifting stuff before 1/20 ... so it is expensive to bring them in before that date.

  @firewalla. I am confused. You are going to be selling this in less than 24 hours and you still have not run the numbers to determine the sales price?

  Unfortunately, yes;

  We want everyone to get the best price for early access (and also we don't want to lose money on it either), so we balance the two.

  We all appreciate that and of course you can't lose money on it, but I would think you would know the profit margins and final shipping costs by now that you will incur for the first shipments that will be early access to be able to finalize the sale price. Is there another variable that would change your calculations over the next 12 hours before early access launch?

  Thank you for the response!   I'm appreciative that you all have developed the products.  Might be worth updating the FAQ with the price / site ahead of the sale tomorrow.

  As much as these are a really nice addition, my worry is the price point? You can get u7 APs with about the same specs for about 1/2 the price... Is the price something that will come down?

  The price will go up due to tariffs and inflation. 

  And sorry, there is no way for a small startup like ours to match the hardware cost of the big boys. But, we make up by having better and more interesting software. If you don't need the additional controls, best just stick with the cheaper AP's.

  I've never understood someone going to a business to tell them they can get something better for less.  Just buy the one you want, for the price you like.  Smaller businesses don't have the volume or margins to race to the bottom nor should they.
