Will the "Beta" US-spec AP7 hardware also be compatible in the EU?

The USA version is hard coded to USA FCC regulations. They are not supposed to be running in EU. Please check local laws and see if you can do that in your target country. I am pretty sure this behavior is applicable to any USA purchased wifi unit

    Awesome, thanks for the response.

Yeah, I've seen some people on forums that have tried to manually combat the channel differences (or something similar - not 100% sure on the details, still somewhat new to this) when they moved various US-market units overseas, but seems like more trouble than it's worth for me. Just wanted to confirm that was the case here as well. Sounds like I'll need to hold off for now, but really excited to see you guys continue to release new hardware!

One last side question: I currently have a Gold SE that I would like to take with me when I move - since it's a router and not an AP, any concerns with moving that from the US to the EU other than the power supply?

Did a quick search here and looks like plenty of people buy from the EU, but couldn't find anything about someone moving their US-purchased unit over there...
