I never really understand gaming routers, if you are looking for smart queue, yes, we do have one. https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056976594-Firewalla-Feature-Smart-Queue

If you are looking for other things, please let me know.

Its not talking about gaming router.  In Untangle firewall we can do bypass rule for certain address.  So that deep packet inspection will not done.  And I think it will bypass certain layers and reduce latency.  This is other than smart queues.  Is there any feature in Firewalla as well?

    Thanks

You can turn monitoring off a device, that will bypass the inspection. Modern CPU's are really fast, I don't think there will be any significant difference in a ms or around that.

Sorry for the delayed reply.  I placed an order for Firewalla device.  Before getting my hands on it just wanted to know how to setup bypass.  Any documentation that I can refer to?

    Thanks

What do you mean "how to setup bypass"? You can turn monitoring off, but as I as said previously, modern CPU's are really powerful, you may not need to do that.

What is important is monitor your network congestion, if needed use the smart queue https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056976594-Firewalla-Feature-Smart-Queue

    Hello Firewalla Team,

To build on this topic, I am looking at the Firewalla product and have a question regarding gaming.

    - With your UPNP implementation, is it just miniUPNP in the background? I am currently running OPNSense and am having an issue with COD Warzone connecting from 2 devices behind the same router (Yes I have pure NAT and UPNP enabled and allowed for my device, with a static outbound port and hybrid NAT rules). Have you done any testing with this?

You want to map two different devices to the same port? Or are they two different devices using two different ports?

Currently it is 2 devices that are using (should be using) UPNP to claim a port but on OPNSense it isn’t the most consistent experience. So was just curious if there had been any testing done with Firewalla.

Are they claiming the same port? UPnP is not a complex protocol, so need to know what is it opensense not doing right
