I have standard Blue running in DHCP mode with several devices set to have reserved/static IP addresses. The problem is that devices are not always assigned the static IP and this seems to be connected to when the Firewalla is restarted. For example my Synology NAS is assigned a static IP address using the Firewalla app. If the Firewalla is restarted then sometimes (it's hard to know the frequency) the NAS acquires a new IP address within the DHCP range. It's as if the DHCP server's thread for assigning static IP addresses starts belatedly, and so when the NAS realises that the gateway is back up it asks for an IP but is given a new random one instead of the static one.
On a similar thread I often have issues with devices not being assigned static IP address despite repeated restarts of the device
I'm currently running the beta app (3.6.21) but the issue predates my experimental switch to that
Anyone any ideas?
