1 ISP - ONT into 2 * 1GBPS fibre connections - How to manage?

Hi all,

Just received my Firewalla Gold, after testing in router mode between my ONT and Nokia Beacon Wifi mesh (bridge mode), I'm looking at a way to manage/monitor my second 1Gbps connection. The new DUAL WAN feature doesn't seems to offer the functionality I'm looking for (Not looking at standby or load balancing here but keep it fully segregated)

Here is my current setup to segregate family internet vs work internet (specific VPN running...)

1 ISP (2 Gbps) --> ONT --> 2 * 1GBPS

• 1 Gbps A to Firewalla router mode --> Nokia Beacon wifi mesh (Home family network like 192.168.1.1)
• 1 Gbps B to Linksys router (Work network like 192.168.2.1)

 

How could I also monitor or manage the 1 Gbps B to Linksys router?

Could I use the firewalla in simple mode for 1 Gbps B and keep it as router mode for 1 Gbps A?

Could I use the firewalla in router mode as well for 1 Gbps B and keep it as router mode for 1 Gbps A? I believe not possible at all?

 

Current internet offer as fyi, replace the laptop by a linksys router.

  You probably want to wait for 1.972.  This release has Policy. based routing, which should allow you to select which interface traffic goes to which WAN interface.
