Internet speed reduction between FW Gold and Router
My speed test between FWG and NetGear modem looks good and I get 960mbps ISP speed. I have an Orbi Mesh router connected to FWG. FGW is connected to the ISP modem.
My direct (both wired and wireless) connection speed between FGW and laptop (MacBook Pro 2018) I get only 260mbps not matter which port I connect to...
I am not sure if anyone has a similar issue. I do understand how come I get only 25% of my ISP even if I connect directly to FWG. Seems like something is off.

I tried with both cat 5e and cat6 cable. Testing using speedtest.net. Smart Queue disabled also didn't make any difference.

Might take a look at this post, the author didn’t respond back to say if he was able to get the correct speed, but some good suggestions

@sundar
I looked at your case, and it is very likely your problem is related to your thunderbolt to ethernet converter on your MAC. Our engineer tested speed from your old Firewalla Blue (the one you gave us access to) to the internet (via ookla) through the Gold, and it is clocking near gigabit. Since this is also an ethernet device, it means the thunderbolt to ethernet converter may need some work.
If you have other ethernet devices, you should give that a try as well.

@sundar have you looked at System Preferences > Network > Ethernet > Hardware then looked at the speed?
Not sure if it helps, but worth a look
