    Try Settings->Advanced->Configurations->Block ICMP.

    By default, firewalla tries very hard to shield your network and blocking ping and other probs is one of the functions that are on by default.

    With this setting I can only ping the public ipv4 address from firewalla, no difference for the public ipv6 client address.

    I think blocking ipv4 is important and pinging is not necessary. .. but mybe on ipv6? I don't know.

    (by the way .. my client is not blocking the ping .. I tried it with another router, there was ipv6 icmp on by default and cannot be disabled ..)

    Is it possible to continue blocking ipv4 but allow ICMP for IPv6 so the test passes?

    I just ran into this issue myself. IPv6 test site says "ICMP" is filtered. I turned off the Block ICMP on my WAN interface, but the test site still says ICMP v6 is filtered.

    Are you using the Firewalla's IPv6 address? if you are double check you are not using the fexx... address

    Two years on I also have this exact issue. Firewalla seems to not let any ICMPv6 through regardless of the block ICMP setting

    May I know which ICMP settings are you talking about? the ingress firewall will block any incoming traffic to v6 and v4 traffic
