Why can't I ping Firewalla Gold on internal interface(s)?

I'm unable to ping my Firewalla Gold on the internal interface(s), why is that?

 

The device I'm pinging from has a 'allow traffic to all local networks' rule.

  Which version are you on? 1.971 or 1.970? and when you are pinging, is it the interface the local interface or the IP address of another interface?

  New version has options to selectively enable ping on certain interfaces, this has solved my problem.
