Curious, is there some kind of wireless access point controller that could be run on the Firewalla Gold?

One of the features that I miss from my peplink router is that it could manage pepwave access points.  If you have multiple WAPs, it will take care of channel assignments, radio strength, etc, in addition to just giving you a single location to manage SSIDs.

Certainly, not expecting that I could manage my pepwave access points through Firewalla-i'm sure the peplink software is proprietary, but if WAPs were flashed with DD-WRT could you manage them with OpenWisp installed on a FW-Gold?

  You can run the Unifi controller in a docker container on the gold.

  I'm not sure about peplin, but TP-Link Omada has support for the Rpi (forum how-to here). I use the TP-Link EAP245 AP in my setup, but since I only have one AP I don't see the need for a Controller. Been thinking about getting another, which I would then use a controller. But I have a Windows Server that is always on, so I wouldn't look to install in the Firewalla.
